Job Description

Main purpose and scope of the job:
Develop, integrate, configure and support the business applications and database infrastructure upon which the business relies, within agreed standards.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide third line support for Business Applications.
  • Develop good working relationships with key stakeholders across the HHL Group.
  • Liaise with Software supplier in the management of systems implementations, enhancements and support.
  • Analyse business processes and associated systems in order to identify and develop system enhancements.
  • Key systems/technologies the role will be involved with:
  • Mobile Working solutions.
  • MS SQL Server databases.
  • Web based technologies.
  • Asset Management.
  • Housing management.
  • Financial management.
  • Document and report management.
  • Analysis of corporate data for reporting and analysis purposes.
  • Support other ICT colleagues in regard to major projects such as infrastructure and systems upgrades, ensuring appropriate knowledge transfer to the Service Desk team.
  • Planning of workload to ensure consistent delivery against deadlines.
  • Use of appropriate planning tools & processes when dealing with project work.
  • Responsible for all documentation pertaining to handover to Service desk, cross training other colleagues and user documentation.

The job also involves occasional travel between sites.
